3B Pedro Alvarez, PIT was 3-for-5 with two home runs, three RBI and three runs. Alvarez has homered twice in each of his last two games and now has all seven of his homers in July. Speaking of July, he's hitting .339 (21/62) with those seven home runs, 15 RBI and 12 runs this month. Only 9.1 % ESPN and 18% Y! owned, now would be the time to grab him if you are floundering at the 3B or CI positions. He's projecting 23 HR and 65 RBI, most of which would be gained by the owner picking him up today.
