Line of the Day: 08/06/2010

SP Adam Wainwright, STL was dominant in throwing a complete game two-hit shutout, walking three and striking out seven. The two hits were a swinging bunt and a blooper. He's now 16-6 on the season with a 2.07 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP and has struck out 154 in 169.1 innings pitched. Wainwright is on pace for a 24-9 record and 229 K's and will definitely be in the mix for the NL Cy Young Award.
