C Joe Mauer, MIN was 4-for-5 with a double, home run, two RBI and two runs. The home run was only his eighth of the year and surprisingly, his first at the new Target Field. Mauer is on pace for 11 homers this season, a far cry from the 28 he hit last season and what most people expected while drafting him 12th, on average. It's hard to feel any sympathy for those managers that are getting a .335 average, 91 RBI and 99 Runs from the catcher position. Over the last 15 days, Mauer is lighting it up with a .451 average (23/51), two homers, nine RBI and 11 runs.
