SP CC Sabathia, NYY pitched eight scoreless innings against the Oakland Athletics, giving up just one hit while striking out five, walking three and hit a batter. Sabathia has won his last six decisions and is now 19-5 overall. His 19 wins lead the majors and could be the runaway Cy Young Award winner with his 3.02 ERA and 1.20 WHIP.
