Line of the Day: June 3rd, 2011

Melky Cabrera went 4-for-5 with a double, two home runs and five RBI in the Royals 16-8 victory over the Colorado Rockies. He tied career highs for hits and RBI in this game.

Line: 5 AB, 4 R, 4 H, 5 RBI; 2B, 2 HR

My fantasy perspective: Cabrera is on pace for a 5x5 line of .283/96/21/93/19. Melky Cabrera. MELKY! Every one of those statistics would set career highs. MELKY, not Miggy. It took some owners to buy into the fact that he and his numbers were for real this season. He's been 100% owned in ESPN leagues for a while no but still only 71% owned in Yahoo! leagues. By my calculation, that's 29% of leagues that suck before the all-star break.
