SP Edinson Volquez, CIN allowed one hit over seven innings against the Pittsburgh Pirates, walking one and striking out 10. He did not factor in the decision. This was the first start for Volquez since August 23rd when he went only 2/3rds of an inning, allowing five runs. Volquez could be a nice add (only 12% owned in ESPN and Y! leagues) if these are the kinds of numbers he's going to put up down the stretch.
