Line of the Day: 09/12/2010

OF Mike Stanton, FLA went 3-for-4 with two home runs, three RBI, two runs, a walk and a caught stealing (A for effort) in a 6-5 win over the Washington Nationals. Stanton now has 20 HR is 81 games. The math here is relatively simple. This guy has 40 HR power and hopefully becomes a better than .250 hitter. A positive sign of things to come for 2011 is that he's hitting .341 (14/41) with 6 HR and 10 RBI in the month of September. How high are you gamble on drafting him? Nice stat from ESPN: Mike Stanton is the fourth player since 2000 to reach 20 home runs within his first 81 games, joining Albert Pujols, Ryan Braun, and Adam Dunn.
