Line of the Day: 09/13/2010

SP Derek Lowe, ATL pitched eight shutout innings in a 4-0 win against the Washington Nationals, allowing just six hits while striking out 12 and walking none. Lowe is healthy (sore elbow) and that's good news for the Atlanta Braves as they are in the mix for a playoff spot. He's now 13-12 with a 4.22 ERA and 1.39 WHIP and continues to provide about 15 wins per season for relatively cheap (ADP 205.7) in most league formats. So far, that's 13 more wins than Brandon Webb, he of an ADP of 92.9. Late round pickups can be the difference between winning and losing.
